In scientific research, teachers and assistants are continuously active through several research projects, supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.

Teachers and assistants from Department of Analytical Chemistry realize active cooperation with other scientific and educational institutions: Faculty of Physical Chemistry - University of Belgrade; Faculty of Chemistry - University of Belgrade; Faculty of Agriculture - University of Belgrade; Institute of Nuclear Sciences Vinča; Department of Electrochemistry, Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy (ICTM) - Belgrade as well as Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac; Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković”; Security Institute; Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia and other institutions.

Within their research work, teachers of the Department of Analytical Chemistry established cooperation with universities abroad: Faculte de Pharmacie, Universite Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium), Clarkson University Potsdam, Chemistry Department, USA (United States), Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Bradford (UK), Faculte de Pharmacie, Montpellier (France), Faculty of Pharmacy, Ankara University (Turkey) and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece).
