Zorica Stojić-Vukanić je diplomirala, magistrirala i doktorirala na Univerzitetu u Beogradu - Farmaceutskom fakultetu.

Na integrisanim akademskim studijama profesor Zorica Stojić-Vukanić je uključena u izvođenje teorijske nastave u okviru predmeta Imunologija, Imunologija sa imunohemijom i Osnovi farmaceutske biotehnologije. Učestvuje i u realizaciji teorijske nastave na specijalističkim akademskim studijama Biološki lekovi i na doktorskim akademskim studijama.

U okviru naučno-istraživačkog rada, koje je bilo finansirano od strane Ministarstva prosvete, nauke i tehnološkog razvoja Republike Srbije, profesor Zorica Stojić-Vukanić je učestvovala u istraživanjima koja su bila fokusirana na ispitivanje uticaja starenja i pola na imunske mehanizme uključene u autoimunsko oštećenje nervnog tkiva, i posebno na ulogu ćelija urođenje imunosti u tim procesima. Autor je ili koautor 54 naučna rada.

Član je Društva imunologa Srbije od 1990. godine.
