Jelena Savić graduated 2008 at University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy.Since than she is employed at Department for pharmaceutical chemistry.

Doctoral thesis she defended 2017 in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry was awarded as best PhD student research in that year at Faculty of Pharmacy.Jelena is assistant professor since 2018. She is engaged in practical classes on Pharmaceutical chemistry I, II and III and in theoretical classes on Pharmaceutical chemistry.

Jelena Savić is the coauthor of handbook for practical classes of Pharmaceutical chemistry II. She participated in three national projects of Ministry of education, science and techological developmenet, one bilateral project between Serbia and Slovenia, and one COST action. She participantes in the project InfCanPlay of the program IDEAS.

Research interest is design and synthesis of novel compounds, evaluation of physico-chemical properties and COX-1/COX-2 inhibitory potential of synthetised compunds.

She is a reviewer for several international and national scientific journals.

Jelena is an anlyst in the Laboratory for testing and quality control of medicines.
