Jasmina Đuretić (maiden name Đikić) graduated from the University of Niš - Faculty of Medicine in 2007 (9.81/10). She passed the professional exam for a Doctor of Medicine in 2008, after completing her medical internship at the University Clinical Center of Serbia. She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "The impact of aging on the immune response and neuroinflammation: studies on the model of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis" in 2019 at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Pharmacy and completed specialist academic studies (study program - Biological Drugs) in 2020 at the University of Belgrade - Faculty of Pharmacy (10.00/10).

In 2021, she became assistant professor of Pathophysiology. Since then, she has been the responsible teacher in the compulsory subjects Pathophysiology 1 and Pathophysiology 2 in integrated doctoral studies, as well as in English language studies. For her work in teaching, she received high marks from the students.

As an author or co-author, Jasmina Đuretić has published 16 scientific research papers. Her research work so far has focused on researching neuroinflammation induced by autoimmune damage, but also on aging-related changes in the immune system.
